I've played with this all encompassing life productivity framework to help organize all the hats I wear.
I shared the latest iteration that allowed for a mini- breakthrough for me. I shared it with a group of guys on a Telegram I got together (let me know if you want in for a supportive group of guys who share some dope info about life, finance, career, health etc)... Maybe a break through hack , maybe just a potential boost in productivity - but I plan on doing the following to help me move things forward on my master to do list: 1. Assign a "Hat" or a theme to a day of the week. e.g List of "hats" 1. Faith 2. Fitness 3. Finance 4. Fortress 5. Family 6. Fulfillment 2. Convert that list into a master to do list or spreadsheet where you "drop" the TODOs from that category for that day. e.g. Money Mondays [Finance] -Get life insurance 3. Execute! On Monday evenings, I plan on going through my list of things I have to do by reviewing my list. It can be routine based (budget review) or something where you are tackling something new - "spend 1 hr reading up on investing". Remember: Sometimes - we have a list written down somewhere + the list in our head that didn't make it to the list and it can be overwhelming...where to begin, right? This helps sort this out. Obviously, there will be exceptions to the rule - urgent things come up - or "theme swap outs"...but could be a good way to maximize hitting every domain in your life. So there you have it. You "slate" every todo list you have into its appropriate home (this can live in a trello like board for better visuals). And this can help ensure you are paying attention to every domain in life. Bonus points if you get your significant other onboard with this system!
